Tech is announcing the availability of its new 9036 Fiber Cluster® Star Hub. This product allows IBM Systems 3x, AS/400, and IBM workstation controllers using twinax and twisted pair cable to communicate over high performance fiber optic cable. S.I. Tech's model 9036 Fiber Cluster® is a stand alone Star Hub product allowing easy change from twinax to fiber, to twisted pair via RJ45 termination. The 9036 allows easy connection to 7 terminals or PC's in a Star Hub configuration. The 9036 is a synchronous half/full duplex 1 Mbps hub. It has an internal power supply and status indicators.
